How to Map the Infrared Universe with Astropy and ArcGIS

I love astronomy. In a previous life, I was fortunate to study astronomy and work with some of the coolest hyperspectral data collected by the Spitzer Space Telescope. So since joining Esri five years ago, I’ve had it on my mind to use ArcGIS to map the infrared universe using observations from Spitzer Space Telescope; observations with which I already have some familiarity.
